Water Taxis Combined was established in 2004, and has continually provided a quality service to customers on Sydney Harbour. The organisation has also provided the opportunity to vessel owners to grow their own businesses through a franchise arrangement. Our franchisees/Partner referrals are an important part of the business today and the strict criteria in respect to professional conduct and vessel presentation and a collaborative approach to working has created the supportive and professional business we have today.
In August 2018 the ownership of the business changed to Sydney Water Taxis & Charters, while maintaining the trading name of Water Taxis Combined. The business services were also extended to offer Private Charters via a custom charter boat. Directors of the business are Bill Atkinson and Mark Nuttall, both are very involved in all aspects of the business.
Mark Nuttall
Mark is a qualified Coxswain and has many years of experience commercially and in marine rescue.
He has First Aid certification including Advanced Resuscitation. Originally from New Zealand, Mark now calls Sydney home.
He has loved boats and boating of all kinds from a young age so it makes sense that a job on Sydney Harbour has become his profession.
Mark is the skipper of MV Salute.
Bill Atkinson
Bill joined Water Taxis Combined as a franchisee in 2011 and is now proudly a Director of the business.
He holds his Coxswain, MED3 and First Aid certifications. He has lived in Sydney all his life, starting his boating career in his early teens driving a tinny around the Hawkesbury River and sailing on Sydney Harbour.
He is the skipper of the Southern Cross Water Limousine. Bill loves sport, particularly Cricket.
