Sydney Harbour Islands

Explore the hidden Islands of Sydney Harbour with Water Taxis Combined

Wine Island

Catch a water taxi to Clark Island, Cockatoo Island and Shark Island. We are the island specialists on Sydney Harbour and have all the info to help you to decide which island to visit.

Cockatoo Island is one of the largest of the harbour islands and has a fascinating history as a prison, reformatory school and ship building facility.

It is one of 11 historic sites that together form the Australian Convict Sites World Heritage Property.

These days it offers extensive activities and experiences. There is accommodation on the island for camping, glamping and apartment stays.

Additionally there are picnic and BBQ facilities, cafes and bars on the Island.

Cockatoo Island also provides amazing self guided tours to discover more about the fascinating history contained within.

Clark Island and Shark Island are perfect for a romantic picnic, a family event or a corporate function.

Both islands have picnic tables, toilets and extensive open areas for the kids to run around.

Both are managed by the NSW National Parks and require visitors to pay a landing fee.

You should also check on access to the island via the National Parks website as sometimes the islands can be booked for private functions/events and may be closed to the public.

Please visit the Sydney Harbour National Parks website and arrange your National Parks landing fee.
